I have a new nickname!

SMOOSE

Haha it sure sounds more like a nickname for my brother...i think that's what some of his friends call him.

Well yesterday after service, Ben was giving people random nicknames. At first he started calling me Snoopy cos i was wearing a snoopy tee (yay i just bought it for more than half price on thurs haha). Then i cant recall what we were talking about after that, but it caused my name to evolve from Snoopy ---> Snoopy cow (?!?) ----> Snoopy moose (cos moose are more impressive and prettier than cows) ----> SMOOSE (cos it's shorter than Snoopy moose)!

hahaha...so random. Crystal became Priscilla ---> Crysilla; Tim became Bob the Doctor ---> Dob the Boctor...

Lunch was equally random - Indo Mee (15 packets of mi goreng for 8 people!), sunny-side eggs, and CHILLI MUSSELS (woots!), and a good serving of guitar hero. Haha, it was my first time at it, and i'm hopeless at the button-pressing guitar! like it just feels wrong. to press buttons instead of strings. hahaha...but quite fun la. i just dont get the button-pressing n "strumming"

Surprise surprise the one i could play best was....the DRUMS. Vocals aint good for me here cos i dun know most of the songs n the songs ain't that singable/karaoke friendly. Should get disney singstar or something hehe. EHHH don't laugh i know deep down inside...everyone loves disney songs... :) [i grew up with those sing-a-long videos of "follow the bouncing ball!" for lion king, pocahontas, aladdin, little mermaid...] :D

Today was 1st day of sem 1 of 2nd year in uni! :) School looks exciting this year n looking fwd to it. My zoology lecturer speaks in monotone and makes a random joke here n there in the same monotone. Funny...hahaha. Well other than that it's awesome, i've got so many fieldtrips and practical stuff this sem! :) Mum was saying haha it's like back to primary school - we've got excursions to the museum, the zoo, and the park. hahaha...yea and field work starts next week already! AWESOME.

Woots and i'm amazed at God's faithfulness and power. I'm beginning to see the fulfilment of the things He spoke to me even b4 i started uni...about prayer groupS in school :) By the grace of God and divine clashes of our timetables, we have more than 1 group now! :) praise the Lord! I'm so encouraged by the hearts of these people who also desire that Jesus be glorified and come n transform our generation thru worship n prayer. Awesome! (hehe i love this word...AWESOME!!) :)

okies i gotta sleep early cos i have super early day tmr which ends super late. (btw dont believe the timing posted on this blog...it's like never correct. n when i try to change it, it doesnt post till like many hours later. haha) SO yes, i AM in fact asleep at 3.26am!!! :p hehe.
