a bad photo day and a hot hot day

hello peoples! it is a hot hot day today. and guess where i was!

oh wait no prizes for guessing cos i already told you in the previous post. haha.

k before today was yesterday.
...duh...

sorry folks, brain a bit not working in sentences now (i just played a few rounds of Boggle - AH PA! TUM is an actual word!!)

YA, so YESTERDAY was the BAD PHOTO DAY. why? Cos sadly, all the photos we took weren't "up to standard" (haha yea after spending such quality time with camera pros like Mad and Josh you kinda want your photos to be nice too! aaahh i miss mad and josh :(

So anyway, because i wasn't in the mood to really put in the effort to get nice shots yesterday, here are some of the results and lessons learnt:

1) If the photo-taker is the not-so-tall person (a.k.a. me), make sure your tallest person (a.k.a. Brandon) stoops down for the self-taken picture.

If not, this is what happens.

2) If the photo-taker is the tallest person (a.k.a. Brandon), make sure he ALSO stoops down to take the picture.
If not, this happens! We both lose half a face each and the medium-height person (a.k.a. Mike) is the only one who gets a full face (minus the taller hair hehe).

When self-photo-taking rules 1) and 2) are followed...
*TA-DA!* :)

woohoo! so this was the only decent photo of the bad photo day i guess. So remember - Tall persons must adjust their height for self-taken photos. The other pics i took at uni later in the day with classmates make me look too much like a retro aunty, haha so will not post them ahaha.

K....so that was yesterday - lunch and fremantle with some boys...and a cancelled (boooo...they tell us to blame a certain airline) seminar at uni with some girls. well, it was overall a good day of recharging...despite the cancelled seminar and the bad photos. wheee. :)

TODAY was hot. Was at the beach with Elaine, Yixin, and a new friend who i cant decide now what to call her (according to Yixin, she has 3...or 4...names). Hehe.. anyway, the sun-avoiding aunty accessories served me well - tourist hat, sunnies, sunblock - all prevented me from getting fried in the 40deg C summer heat :) [yea yea i forgot to bring the UMBRELLA and the GIANT TOWEL to hide under lah....how could i forget!!]

photos were better today i think (maybe cos we are about the same height!! hahaaa).

Yup! here ends my long and photo-filled post of YESTERDAY and TODAY! YAY. hahahaha i'm tired...time to sleep and wake up early tmr for CHURCH! :) gdnite mates!
