And the green grass grows all around n around...

...and the green grass grows all around!

Haha...yea...another thing i love about here! The grass is mostly carpet-grass-like and so usually dry n non-muddy unlike the cow grass in singapore. How wonderful it is that I can now go to any patch of grass under a tree I can find (n it grows all around n around...my campus!woohoo.) n sit myself down comfortably for a snack or lunch, n get up without a damp/muddy behind. *yayness*

Yah when u walk around campus, u see ppl sitting n lying on the grass eating, studying, reading, doing homework etc. Don't think I've ever seen that in singapore. So cool man...haha. (Btw, i do like my surroundings green)

A lot of ppl say perth is like super boring n dead, but i really like it here. Sure, everything closes at 5 most of the time, but there's still so much to see, hear, smell n touch! Haha, ok...multi-sensory nature-lover coming through...

Love to see the trees n big open grass n bushland, hear the birds (yea man like u see birds u'd only find in aviaries in Jurong birdpark! lorikeets, parrots, little corellas, wrens, wagtails, ravens, magpies...all WILD), smell all the deeeelicious smells of the air (so FRESH, n eucalyptus-y, nice smells...haha), n touch the bark of trees (the textures r amazing!), gumnuts, N play with grass blades...haha...yea...

Well...work's been coming in recently...lotsa reading to do, n online quizes, n lab assessments...wah scary ah! Even worse than SPA haha...(n SPA is not a relaxing bubble bath, for those of u who had e privilege of escaping it) Yea, but trusting in God to see me thru this yr n beyond :)

Okie pokie gtg! be nice to your plants n animals. :)

Hi Yvette - yes, tropical grass is not as nice to sit on; plus if you are eating a sandwich, there are bound to be ants. I saw your photos of spiders - yikes! They are monsters compared to what we have here. Will have to show them to baby Tyan who loves to sing about Insy Winsy Spider.
